Hello Everyone,
We are doing great here in Togo. We have been busy the last few days with construction, sports camps, English Training, and evangelism opps. Today we are getting the opportunity to hang out around the house because the road was blocked to get to our construction site. we are taking advantage of the time to play. Honestly it feels like we are little kids using our imagination to keep us entertained and we are having fun doing it.
I am so impressed with the team and how they have adjusted to missionary life. They are really taking advantage of the opportunities to share God’s love and pray for people.
Tomorrow we leave the city and head up into the mountains to the village of Djon and Kjembe. We will host a huge soccer tournament that includes 6 villages total. We will get the opportunity to share Christ with over 5-700 people during the next few days. Please pray for favor upon us.
Following our time in Djon we will head to a nice little tourist spot and visit West Africa’s largest waterfall. We will arrive back in Lome Monday Night. I will post a blog at that time.
Thanks for your comments and prayers. Love you All!
Magz:

Happy birthday babe! I know it’s early but I thought you might read this before I get on tomorrow.
hope all is well!!! seems like yesterday I was there spreading Christ to the people of Togo. keep at it!!!
Just checked in on you guys and saw some amazing stories already; I know you all must be on a serious spiritual high and at the same time, a physical ‘exhaustion’ point . . . I pray for your endurance this next week!!! I’m sure the waterfall will be beautiful and refreshing, much like you all are to the people you’ve been serving
.
Josh, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! How is it you’re always out of the country on your birthday??? Our team will celebrate when you get back
. Mike & the guatemala team made it safely, although they had to take off twice from ATL, they had mechanical probs . . . YIKES!! He’s already tweeting about how much fun they’re having watching the world cup and eating ice cream . . . glad to know you guys are actually WORKING!! (just kidding) . . . hope you have a fabulous birthday celebration (minus the village goat of course!) . . . tell the team I expect them to sing you happy birthday in FRENCH!
I’m so proud of all you guys! Zach & Rashad, I’m so thrilled you guys are there serving our Lord and the people, as well as our girls
. . . I’m sure God is using you both in mighty MIGHTY ways!!!
Girls, stay strong, be sweet and encourage one another like I know you always do . . . leaving & heading home can be really emotional so take care of each other and the guys!
Love to all!!
-Maria-
Good morning! Just finished my walk and wanted to say hi. I’m off to work for a little while today. It’s going to be in the low 90′s today, better than 97 and it actually felt pretty good on my walk. Jazzy is doing good, better everyday, she’s putting weight on it again. Pretty low key weekend, I saw Michelle Friday night and last night Brenda and I went to church..it was great Steven Furtick (Elevation Church in Charlotte) was on video talking about Unstoppable! I really like him. The message reminded me of all of you Unstoppable in spreading “The Good News”! I love you and miss you. Hope you had a blast at the waterfall and soccer match. Enjoy every minute of this last week! Love Mom
Happy Birthday Joshua (in a Pastor Francis accent of course)!!! I hope it is even better than last year with drums and dancing and all! I love reading what you all have been up to and to see how Christ is using you all! I cannot wait to hear more.
